What enters the application

Kostira uses a STEP file, material and process settings, and the information needed to build an estimate and quote. The public marketing site does not ask for CAD uploads; models are added only after a user signs in to the application.

Customer files and quote data are not published in guides, promotional material or case studies. Any future public study must use approved, anonymized or synthetic material.

Before uploading a STEP file

  • confirm that you are authorized to process the model in an online service;
  • remove customer names and project numbers from filenames when they are not required;
  • avoid attaching drawings, notes or commercial information beyond the quoting need;
  • check your NDA, customer terms and internal policy for cloud and subprocessors;
  • keep your own required copies instead of treating a beta application as the sole archive.

The limits of this public statement

This page does not claim unverified certifications, encryption specifications, data locations, fixed retention periods or deletion guarantees. If your shop requires a particular technical or contractual control, contact Kostira before uploading a confidential model.

Security reports can be sent to [email protected]. Do not include a CAD file or active credentials in the first message; describe the concern and a safe way to continue the conversation.

Analytics data

Google Analytics on the marketing site loads only after consent. Email addresses, company names, CAD filenames, quote identifiers, quote values and model data should not be sent to analytics.
