# Kostira

> Browser-based CNC costing software for machine shops: STEP geometry, editable shop assumptions, and PDF/XLSX output.

Kostira accepts .step and .stp files. The estimator reviews stock, material prices, operations, hours and shop rates before sending a quote. Geometry does not establish every drawing requirement, cycle time, manufacturability or final selling price.

The current offer is a free open beta without a payment card. The application interface is English. Workspace currencies are PLN, EUR, USD, GBP, CZK, MXN and CAD. Starter rates are examples to review, not live market prices. Public pages are available in English and Polish; the links below lead to their canonical HTML versions.
